Who is this session for? GP Practice Administration staff who wish to develop a background knowledge of the terms and abbreviations used in surgeries
Aim - to provide an introduction to Medical Terminology - Bodies, Bones and Basic Terms
Learning Objectives / Outcomes - as a result of attending this session, learners will be able to:
- Identify the main organs of the human body
- Recognise abbreviations and acronyms, and their dangers
- Understand common terms used in the language of health
- Identify the main bones in the human body
Duration: The session will be 2 hours in duration and there will be time for questions during the session
